It was an awesome weekend at the Toronto Book Festival a few weeks ago.

The Word on the Street (WOTS) was again another highlight of the year. So many readers… so many authors… so many great books! Problem was… choosing of course.

Meet Cindy! She came by my booth on day one, we had a lovely chat and she was the very first person to purchase The Voice I Couldn’t Ignore! (I happened to have a few pre-publish-date copies with me.) Cindy was in TO for the weekend to celebrate an event with her hubby and of course, to attend a Blue Jays game. She came back to the festival the next day to tell me she’d already started reading and “for some unknown reason, you moved me to tears. I just had to come back to tell you.” The story was hitting home.

Being both moved and delighted with her comments and our discussions, we took a selfie and hoped to keep in touch!
