Something wonderful I recently learned when reading about the great state of Montana was the unique relationship between the Glacier National Park in Montana and the Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta. In 1932, the USA and Canada designated the two parks to create the world’s first international peace park, the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, promoting … you guessed it, peace and goodwill between our two nations! And may it thrive. The blog stop featured today came right from Montana. Blog owner of MontanaMade by Jasmine, had this excerpt to share following her read of The Gatekeeper’s Descendants:
“Over the years I’ve read quite a number of fantasy books, probably more than even I would have thought, from fairytale retellings to J.R.R. Tolkein’s The Silmarilion, and I have to (say) that The Gatekeeper’s Descendants has got to be one of the most unique. Author Johanna Frank takes on the daunting topic of heaven and earth and the transitions in between. However, as important as that is the part that really spoke to me was the fact that none of us are accidents, we were put here for a purpose, no matter how long or short our time on earth is, no matter if we don’t yet know what that purpose is or if we’ve simply lost sight, it all has meaning.”
Thank you Jasmine, for your meaningful review!
