I don’t know if one ever gets comfortable with the idea of tossing your work out there to groups of critical reviewers and waiting, waiting, waiting for their comments! An advanced reading copy of Jophiel’s Secret has gone out to a dozen or so industry reviewers (people who like to read-a-lot and then blog to the world whether they liked it ..or not). It was a phew moment when the first review came in a couple days ago! Although they say if relief feels so great, then one may have been overly anxious – and that a way to get over that is to remember: always think about what we are grateful for. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful, incredibly actually, I just have to read that sign hanging by my shower more often to remind myself. 😊

Although this is the second book in a series, Frank provided adequate back story to understand the characters’ unique relationships. I will probably go back and read the first book in the series, simply to be fully prepared for the next!
